During the tour of Canada in the month of February 2007, Kreskin stopped the car while being driven to the theatre, jumped out and stood transfixed. Here out of the blue was a store with the name “Caldwell” in blazing letters. Since that is the town in which he grew up in it literally brought back a flood of memories as he stood in another country.
Kreskin’s tour which took him into cities all over Canada this year, he became fascinated with this giant ball that was back stage at the theater called the ACT in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. The ball was called the “Great Gaffspey” and consisted of gaffing tape used by the stage technicians in putting up scenery what have you. In each show pieces are simply added, and even with Kreskin’s abilities – he couldn’t read the thoughts of anyone as no one could figure how many thousands of pieces of tape created this massive and extremely heavy sphere.
Reporter, Jennifer Cormier with Carstairs Courier (Irricana, AB) on January 30, 2007 writes: Bert Church Theatre “A PREDICTION YOU CAN BET ON………”The Amazing Kreskin displays an authoratative, commanding and charismatic stage presence”.
