I’m thinking of a number between one and three. But there’s no mystery here, no mind reading required: the number is three! That’s because today marks the third visit to this show by the Amazing Kreskin. It’s not close to the 70-plus appearances the Amazing one made to the Tonight Show, but we might be making gains on Mike Douglas. I’ll have our researchers look into that. Read the article

Self-publisher Provides Platform for Famous and New Authors Alike Bloominton, IN (PRWEB) August 22, 2010 AuthorHouse, the leading provider of self-publishing and marketing services for authors around the globe, has released a new video promoting its appeal to authors of all backgrounds and experiences. In particular, it recounts the decisions by the Amazing Kreskin to publish his memoir with AuthorHouse and Jann Robbins—widow of Harold Robbins—to release 12 of his classic works in digital form for the first time ever. “AuthorHouse is increasingly appealing to ‘famous authors’ as well as first-time and less experienced authors, because of the flexibility and author-centric focus. For these two prominent authors’ works to be released through AuthorHouse is a tribute to the democratization of publishing that AuthorHouse and other indie publishers have created,” said Keith Ogorek, senior vice president of marketing for Author Solutions, Inc.—AuthorHouse’s parent company. Kreskin’s memoir, Kreskin Confidential, is his seventeenth book—the first he has self-published. Kreskin wrote the book in three weeks and chose AuthorHouse because he wanted it brought to market in conjunction with the 2008 feature film The Great Buck Howard, which was loosely based on his life and career. “The reason for my self-publishing was initially that of time pressure,” Kreskin said. “I am pleased with my final choice because I have become immensely satisfied with the professionalism and the quality of work I found in AuthorHouse." Robbins’ titles have sold more than 750 million copies, in 32 different languages worldwide. His widow Jann chose AuthorHouse for re-releasing 12 of her late husband’s novels because she wanted to expose his out-of-print work to a new generation. Additionally, working with AuthorHouse allowed these culturally important works to be produced in digital formats for the first time. “Harold was a literary trailblazer who did things his way, and he would be excited by the changes underway in publishing—especially the growing popularity of e-books and other digital formats,” said Jann Robbins. “I felt it was important to get these works out to new readers, and a big part of that was making the digital versions available through multiple platforms.” For more information about publishing your book with AuthorHouse, log on to or call 888-519-5121 today. A few days ago, Glenn Beck on his nationally syndicated radio show, suggested that The Amazing Kreskin, the world’s foremost mentalist, meet with President Obama. Glenn Beck felt that a polygraph or lie-detector test would just not work with everybody. He strongly recommended that The Amazing Kreskin is the one person who should meet with President Obama. As Beck describes it, when Kreskin meets with President Obama, Kreskin glances and comments on President Obama’s watch and then proceeds to pull out his own watch, which is on a long chain. He then asks the president to look at the watch as he swings it back and forth slowly, counting backwards from ten to one. Beck said that when Kreskin finishes counting, he should simply gaze at the President and say..."Mr. must tell the truth."

Despite being barred from casinos around the world because of his psychic poker play, The Amazing Kreskin will appear for two months at Casbah Lounge in the Sahara starting Wednesday. For the first time, he’ll offer a weekly 30-minute gambling seminar to audiences to impart his expertise on how individuals playing poker, blackjack and other card games can increase their advantage and odds. Kreskin, who has broken records at casinos all over the globe, will reveal why he’s banned from casinos and isn’t permitted to play poker anywhere. I’ve worked with the mentalist on many TV shows over the past 20 years, and with $1 million at stake, he’s always won every challenge. Doubtless, he’ll make waves here on The Strip over the next 60 days. page 2: AMAZING KRESKIN WANTS TO HELP PIRATES

Of course, the famed mentalist The Amazing Kreskin knows what you're thinking. He can't be serious about his offer to help the Pittsburgh Pirates end a 17-straight -- and counting -- losing season streak. But you're wrong, he says. "I'm not making this a sideshow thing," said the 75-year-old famed mind reader, whose career as a prognosticator has spanned decades of late-night talk shows as well as Super Bowl and Academy Award predictions. "I don't want cameras there. I want to meet privately with the team." Read the full article on

In David Byron’s fifth non-fiction book, CINEMASSACRES, he has assembled a vast array of special guests from the TV, film, and fiction industries, some that knew Forrest J. Ackerman personally, some who just wish to pay homage to the man fondly known as “Uncle Forry”, and some who had never met Forry but had always been fans of his work. Also known as “Mr. SciFi”, Forrest J. Ackerman made a literary, historical breakthrough for fans of scifi and horror when he released the first issue of Famous Monsters of Filmland in February of 1958. The magazine’s success required a second printing to fill the public demand. Included in the “Special Guest Interviews” is a 15 page interview with The Amazing Kreskin. Forrest Ackerman was the man who gave Kreskin two cover stories in Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine back in 1977. To order book:

Len Berman - Emmy Award winning sportscaster and New York Times Bestselling Author Posted: July 6, 2010 - The Huffington Post Top 5 Sports Stories 5. Mental Case It's Kreskin to the rescue. The 75-year mentalist wants to help the Pittsburgh Pirates. Why not? The organization is in the throes of a 17-year losing streak. They even fired, and then brought back, one of their racing pierogis because he wrote some negative things about the team on Facebook. Kreskin's first move would be to send the manager and general manager on a two year vacation to Tibet. Kreskin would then use the power of suggestion to get the players to perform better. Kreskin offered his services to the Mets in 2007, but they turned him down. The Mets then famously collapsed in September. I'm thinking the Pirates should take this guy seriously.want to keep it as September 4, it is fine with me.
