Presidents Trump’s communication on Twitter

In the ensuing couple of days with all the fervor of Presidents Trump’s communication on Twitter, I have a very special suggestion to make that I think will be well received by many of the voting public, as well as those younger who have not yet had the opportunity to vote and I believe it could bring an even closer rapport with the President. I feel it would be very special if President Trump would take one of the most important periods of communication in the past century, used powerfully by President Franklin D. Roosevelt during the 2nd World War.  That vehicle was his Fire Side Chats.  I can remember as a young man, sitting with my parents with the radio on, listening, not to a press conference, where different ideas were thrown back and forth, but listening to what the President considered the most important issues and thoughts that he had at that time.  More than ever, the President needs a time where we can listen not to a formal speech in front of a large crowd, but a personal communication from the President himself, not by Twitter, but live in person.  Understand when it was done by Roosevelt, there were no questions being asked him, this was not his press conference, he himself was commenting on what he needed to share with the American people, and we felt like he was speaking only to us, sitting in a living room or kitchen at home, or in a car over the radio.  As a result, the message got across with a highly personalized impact.  I believe this could be one of the most powerful communications steps that President Trump could make at this time.
